Class Photos

Is it just me of is Gracie a bit of a serial killer junior in this class portrait photo shoot.  Why so serious little one?  The amish outfit and side pony bow aren't helping her situation.

I like her better smiling like this.

Grahamparents

Did you like that play on words in the title?  Having three kids under four is not super easy. In fact it kind of makes me want to cry most days.  Some days I do.  Thankfully we have awesome Grandparents who have made things a little easier so I can do things like take Graham on a solo hike along the pier (have I mentioned we have had the most beautiful fall ever?!).

And Grandma Jann made it possible for Fisher to go his Firehouse field trip.

Jann and the kids

We visited my parents in Chicago this past weekend and managed to snag a photo of Graham and Papa and Wewe also.  Papa took the big kids the circus and Wewe watched Graham while I helped host a shower for my friend Missy expecting a baby in January.

Lately it is clear why people live next door to their parents or better yet move the grandparents into the basement.

Halloween 2015

Is it just me or is Halloween celebrated more than any other holiday?  We were in costume 7 times in one week.  By the time trick of treating rolled around, I really wanted nothing to do with anyone's costumes and had already eaten my yearly allowance of peanut butter cups.  It was a bit anti climatic. That being said, it was a really really fun week fueled by sugar and pony glitter.

Halloween party at the nature center where the turtle pet a real life turtle.

Yeah this was the best picture I have of Rainbow Dash and Ninja Turtle.  Nick and his dad helped the kids pick out their costumes at Costco.  They were very impressed with themselves.

I was also a My Little Pony and Nick was a Ninja Turtle.  This is at our friend Victoria and Jon's party

I call this photo of baby Lila and Baby Graham, "Beauty and the Ape" can you tell who is who?

Fisher Hallobirthday # 4

Sometimes you spend a long time on a post and it deletes?  This makes me feel like an old lady trying to figure out how this thing called the internet works and I veto the blog for a bit.  So here it is- my second attempt at Fisher's birthday.  The first time around this post was clever and long.  This time you might just get photos.  I'm still a little bitter.

Horacio assisting party prep.  We had Fisher's party at the YMCA with 20 friends under 5.  Jann and Horacio drove in from Bloomfield Hills, which was a HUGE help.

Fisher insisted on a Transformer cake that was totally off theme.  It kind of bothered me until I remembered it was a 4 year olds party and I already ruined his life by not having the party at his first choice Chuck E Cheese.

A rag tag group if I ever saw one.

Indian Summer (part 2)

Gracie loves the beach and asks to go everyday.  It was nice to be able to oblige her request on this unseasonably warm evening.  Even if she was angry that I left her bathing suit at home.  Not quite that hot.  I have like 30 other photos that are variations on the below, so yes it is a bit beach photo overload but it could be worse.  Fisher left soaking wet.  I wonder if this counts as swimming in November?  Maybe I should have brought the suits after all.

Indian Summer

70 degrees the first week in November?  I'll take it.  So will these sail boats on Spring Lake.  Can you spot them?

Gracie asks me where all the boats have gone. Every. Single. Day.

House glamour shot.

1 month

Graham is fattening right up which makes him 20x times cuter and 20x less ape like.  He is still dealing with a case of baby acne and a severe case of thrush, but hey we made it one month!

Behind the scenes life for Graham can be a bit shall we say physical?  He has to do things like avoid swords during his one month photoshoot.

And his older sister has been known to draw blood during preschool pick up.

Poor Graham.  It's tough to be so loved no one can leave you alone. For even a second.  Happy one month your siblings and parents can't imagine life without you.
