Ms. Kate is our daytime babysitter. She is the best. Mostly because Gracie actually lets her style her hair so she doesn't look like unloved and unkept. When I try to run a brush through it she often tells me- "no, Kate". At the tender age of 21 months she has already discovered that I am the worst at hair and basically need a college class on "little girl hair styles 101". Nick suggested Kate come over every morning just to do her hair in perfect pigtails, pony tails and braids. I'm not sure he was kidding. She also does things like add necklaces to outfits for photo shoots. Basically she is a baby stylist and babysitter in one. She should ask for a raise.
Besides baby styling, she does other cool and unusual things like actually take photos of my kids. I don't think I have taken a picture in weeks. She manages to get some cute ones. See they are having a great time, not missing mom at all. Her daughter Jessica also makes photo appearances.
Look for more photos with better hair in the future as Ms. Kate increases her hours in preparation for baby three this summer and fall. Everyone in the family is thrilled she is able to devote more of her time to our rag tag crew. Although if she spends much more time with us, we will no longer look rag tag!
